The Factorium is still boxed up but the bar is unpacked and we are back online in a secret new location in the southern provinces of the colony!

The new residence (a true heritage syle mansion I must say) even has its own lemon tree for the freshest GnTs possible - lovely!

[and I see we cracked 60 followers in the meantime - welcome lads!]

Merry Christmas to All!

Best Wishes for a very Merry Christmas to All!

WWS reaches 100,000 Hits!

Huzzah and Hurrah - White Wine Sauce has reached 100,000 Hits (since Aug 07), with half of those since Sep 08!

My sincere thanks to all who visit and enjoy the posts material here, and especially those who have left comments and encouraged us to keep posting.

I would like to thank my fellow WWS partners for their wonderful input and motivating encouragement, particularly Mssrs Ogrefencer, Vanvlak and Zophiel.

And of course a Mention in Dispatches goes to Mssr Blease and Wessex Games for inspiring me with VSF madness in the first place.

Yours in Splicing the Mainbrace!

I'm dreaming of a white wine sauce Christmas- again!

Huzzah and Hurrah - White Wine Sauce has reached 50,000 Hits (since Aug 07)

Thank you to all who have visited and enjoyed the material here, and especially those who have left comments and kept encouraging us to keep posting.

I would particularly like to thank my fellow WWS authors for their great input, helped keep me on track and ticked things over here for me in the times when I couldn't. Their contributions and fellowship gives White Wine Sauce real diversity through a team effort.

But most of all I would like to thank the true genius of White Wine Sauce - Mssrs Wells, Verne, Griffith, Burroughs, Doyle and the other greats of VSF who have inspired generations of fans and given us many hours of enjoyment.

White Wine Sauce's 2nd Anniversary!

Indeed it was on this day two years ago that Yours in A White Wine sauce was created. Initially just a place for me to post pics of my VSF creations and be a bit silly, it has grown to be so much more than that - now other post their creations and we are all a little silly together! In that time we have made new friends, battled the vile Boche, sneered at the French and canoodled with Ladies of dubious virtue (not necessarily in that order actually)

Furthermore, this week saw White Wine Sauce reach 25,000 hits since last August - a remarkable number which continues to astound me. Thanks for all the valued support, it is most appreciated.

To commemorate this double celebration, a great competition will soon start here. While the details of this super secret activity cannot yet be revealed, it will be cause for great excitment for VSF fans...

Evidently this excitment has already begun as the telegraph company employees are off the job - I was expecting a summons to Buckingham Palace to receive my Knighthood after all...

Huzzah!

20,000 hits!

It was only 2 months ago that WWS celebrated 10,000 hits and that milestone doubled this week to 20,000! I guess all that Chrstmas holiday time gave everyone a chance to do extra surfing :-)

I'm still rather stunned at the amount of traffic flowing through here and I'll take it as a sign that the team here are doing a good job - Huzzah and Thanks to All!

10,000 Hits, BC

Goodness me - 10,000 Hits in just 3 months!

I continue to be astounded and humbled by the patronage here. I think it is a testamony to the great contributions by all the team here, and certainly Mssr Vanvlak is the most prolific manufacturer of fine VSF models so far.

Many thanks indeed Ladies and Gentlesirs!

And in a complete coincidence, I found out today about the upcoming film "10,000 BC" (due for release 7 march next year), which looks totally wicked.

Have a look at the site below to see a trailer. mammoth heards, sabretooth togers, prehistoric man...all it needs is a few fine chaps and a lady or two hunting in their best safari attire!

Visitors from around the world

This week marks 2 months since I started the hit counter here at WWS (purely out of interest) and I must say that with 7500 hits so far I have been astounded.

What you may have also missed is that at the bottom of the left hand frame there is a Mapper which shows where traffic originates. Out of interest, I have been taking a snapshot of this traffic map every two weeks and it showed some very interesting results.

After 2 Weeks

After 4 Weeks

After 6 Weeks

And after 8 Weeks

So thanks to everyone who has visited WWS and and especially those who have left us comments - we appreciate it!
